Job Title: Sales Manager
Objective / Purpose
As a Sales Manager, the primary objective is to generate leads and sell insurance policies through retail distribution models. This involves serving existing customers, generating referrals, and sourcing new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 4-5 sales representatives (FLS) to ensure seamless customer service and policy issuance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase top-of-funnel activity, driving lead generation through periodical BTL activations and referral programs.
- Utilize digital platforms and social media channels to maximize virtual connections with qualified prospects.
- Adopt need-based selling techniques, tailoring recommendations to individual customer profiles and facilitating smooth policy issuance processes.
- Conduct rigorous follow-ups on work-in-progress prospects, ensuring timely resolution and tracking performance on lead management systems.
- Verify procedural requirements for policy issuance and ensure accurate, complete information is provided to customers.
- Monitor logged policies in the branch to expedite insurance delivery and maintain transparency regarding product offerings.
Educational Qualification: A minimum graduate degree.
Experience:
At least 5-7 years of work experience, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in life insurance sales management, retail bank distribution, co-operative bank and channel management, or DSA relationships.
