Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and perform account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, taxation regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in managing financial records, closing accounts, and conducting audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with Indian accounting standards.
- Oversee payroll processing, including tax withholdings and statutory compliances.
- Handle GST filings, including preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly returns.
- Ensure timely TDS compliance and filings.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and resolve any tax-related issues or queries.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of bank balances and transactions.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts to ensure accurate tracking of accounts payable/receivable.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or professional certifications like CA Inter /ICWA Inter is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with strong exposure to Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Other accounting ERP) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum
