Research Intern Climate Change

The Center is seeking a Research Intern to provide evidence-based insights informing global climate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and data analysis in climate change areas.
  • Lead the creation of high-quality analytical reports, policy papers, and discussion articles.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Manage projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordination.
  • Negotiate partnerships with industry stakeholders and other influential parties to enhance our events and communication efforts.
  • Search and review published literature on research topics.
  • Supervise undergraduate interns or other personnel on research-related tasks.
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development.
  • Prepare reports or presentations.
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Moderate academic discussions and policy dialogues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields like engineering or energy economics.
  • PhD in given domain is an added advantage.
  • 0-1 years of work experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, NVivo).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work/lead as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics.
