Job Title

A highly skilled VFX Mentor is required to provide expert guidance and training to our in-house artists.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive Houdini software training, covering basic to advanced topics in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Deliver effective teaching on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Teach the right approach to achieve convincing results for clients through Lookdev.
  • Offer solutions for seamless integration between Houdini and Autodesk Maya or Blender.
  • Enhance individual skills through efficient and effective teaching.
  • Share valuable insights into the experience of a VFX Artist in the global cinema industry.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor in film, animation, or TV series production.
  • Deep understanding of the overall VFX workflow and production process.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini software.
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles, preferably in Nuke.
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Artistic skills with high attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
