Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored training programs that cater to the strengths, interests, and limitations of trainees.

  1. Design and implement individualized training plans to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  2. Modify teaching methods and materials to suit special needs learners, including visual, hearing, intellectual, and physical disabilities.
  3. Maintain a safe and supportive workshop/classroom environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  4. Provide regular feedback and progress reports to trainees and parents/guardians, ensuring open communication and transparency.
  5. Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists, therapists, and employers to support holistic development and placement opportunities.
  6. Foster exposure visits, internships, and on-the-job training to equip trainees with real-world skills and experience.
  7. Motivate trainees to build confidence and pursue independent living/employment, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Patient and empathetic approach when working with diverse trainee groups.
  • Strong technical expertise in the trade/skill being taught, with a focus on adaptability and creativity.
  • Effective communication and counseling skills to engage trainees and support their personal growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, educators, and social workers to deliver comprehensive support services.
