Job Opportunity

The Responsible Mica Initiative is a global coalition working to establish responsible workplace standards in the mica supply chain.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to support our growth in India and strengthen our support to upstream supply chain actors in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and work closely with our governance bodies, executive team, members, and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct gap assessments of India mica processors and mica mines versus our Global Workplace Standard and forthcoming RMI mining standard.
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans and following up on progress in terms of compliance with regards to RMI workplace and due diligence standards.
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocols for our members, in collaboration with our Executive Team.
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong social and environmental auditing expertise.
  • Exceptional coordination, monitoring, and inter-personal skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities and ability to quickly appropriate topics.
  • Problem-solving skills and capacity to foster effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
