About this Opportunity
The successful candidate will oversee the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by following established protocols and procedures.
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that they are adequate and in good working order.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and direct housekeeping staff.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and other departments.
