Reward Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the operational delivery of all Reward activities, acting as a second point of escalation for BAU matters across compensation, benefits, and incentives.

  • Lead the operational delivery of reward processes including job architecture, salary ranges, market profiles, benefits administration oversight, and incentive scheme governance.
  • Act as 2nd point of escalation for BAU queries (stage 1 resolution handled by Analysts).
  • Oversee and project manage cyclical reward activities ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure benefit processes are accurate and compliant.
  • Coach and develop team members to build capability and resilience in the team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Delivery: Lead the operational delivery of reward processes, including job architecture, salary ranges, market profiles, benefits administration oversight, and incentive scheme governance.
  • BAU Escalation: Act as 2nd point of escalation for BAU queries, working closely with Analysts to resolve issues promptly.
  • Cyclical Activities: Oversee and project manage cyclical reward activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Payroll Partnership: Partner with Payroll to ensure benefit processes are accurate and compliant, providing managerial backup as needed.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop team members to build their skills and capabilities, enhancing overall team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Significant experience in Reward/Compensation & Benefits operations within a complex organization.
  • Strong people management skills with experience leading analysts.
  • Advanced Workday capability desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage cyclical reward processes to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/modeling capability.
