Job Title: Fabrication Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate the fabrication activities across multiple units, developing and implementing strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication Management: Manage the fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.).
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Resource Planning: Plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively.
  • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team for performance enhancement.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication (as relevant).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards. Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
