Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our production operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production meets planned targets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Manage resources required for production, including manpower, machinery, materials, and finances.
  • Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure that our production processes meet quality standards set by industry regulations.
  • Implement safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to prevent production interruptions due to material shortages.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.

  • Strong knowledge of wagon engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry / heavy fabrication industries.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
