We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to lead our cluster's production and operations as a Cluster Head.

About this role:

  • You will head production & operations for the cluster.
  • Responsibilities include production planning, logistics, and customer delivery metrics in the cluster.
  • Work closely with the sales team to get market forecast and plan production to provide continuous supply of SKUs as needed by consumers.
  • Execute contracting farming activities with network farmers, ensuring compliance with company practices.
  • Mobilise suitable farmers, motivate, train, and guide them for taking up regenerative organic production according to UFCo protocols.
  • Monitor all farming activities to ensure that practices are followed and no chemical usage is carried out.
  • Manage the activities of collection centres at each RAC – receiving vegetables from network farmers, sorting, grading, and storage.
  • Ensure produce quality and work closely with operations teams to supply produce to the Collection centre / Distribution Centre.
  • Plan RAC level input production as per vegetable production plans.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to execute practices as per the latest science in regenerative agriculture, providing feedback from the field to the technical Centre of Excellence.
