Job Overview

IRP Systems is at the forefront of developing high-performance e-powertrain systems, poised to revolutionize the electric vehicles market. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager for Electric Mobility in India.

This role presents a unique opportunity to drive business growth in the rapidly expanding electric two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors, and collaborating with finance, operations, and technical teams to effectively communicate product specifications to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electric 2W, 3W, and 4W market segment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications and effectively communicate them to potential clients
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and proactive sales initiatives
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements
- Academic business degree or related field in Electronics
- Engineering background
- At least 7 years of experience in sales/account management
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the automotive or electrification industry
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships
- Familiarity with motors, motor controllers in 2W/3W/4W industry
- Understanding of 2W, 3W, and 4W (e-LCV) markets in India, with a focus on motor controllers
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
