Human Resources Manager

The key objective of this role is to oversee the welfare and grievance management of employees, as well as union relations with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Welfare and Grievance Management: Provide support to employees by handling their grievances in a timely manner and ensuring that their welfare needs are met.
  1. Manage employee grievances through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  2. Coordinate payroll processes for operators, staff, and managerial cadre to ensure timely payment of salaries.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure that the plant environment is safe and secure for employees and visitors.
  1. Provide effective gate control and monitor security team effectiveness to prevent unauthorized access to the plant.
  2. Assess plant property and employee risks to identify potential threats and take corrective action.
  • Contract Labour Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage contract employees effectively.
  1. Audit and address contract employee grievances in a timely manner to prevent escalations.
  • Statutory Compliance and Legal: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to employment and labor laws.
  1. Review and complete PF and ESIC activities efficiently to avoid any penalties or fines.
  2. Ensure timely filing of returns and respond to government authorities to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Employee Relations Agenda: Foster positive relationships with employees through regular communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  1. Distribute welfare items and conduct events as per the welfare calendar to boost employee morale.
  2. Strengthen the grievance redressal process to resolve employee grievances effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management and External Liaisoning: Build strong relationships with local officials, police machinery, unions, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

MBA or MHRM with 10 years of relevant experience working with manufacturing plants and knowledge of English language is required.
