
Strategic Client Development Manager

About the Role:
We seek a seasoned Key Account Manager to cultivate and grow relationships with high-value clients. The ideal candidate will develop in-depth knowledge of each key client's business needs, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Owning and managing relationships with a portfolio of key accounts
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all client-related communications, ensuring consistent and proactive engagement
- Building long-term, trusted relationships with decision-makers and influencers within client organizations
- Revenue Growth & Retention:
- Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand business within existing accounts
- Meeting or exceeding renewal, expansion, and revenue targets for key accounts
- Proactively managing client health, usage trends, and performance to prevent churn
- Account Strategy & Planning:
- Developing strategic account plans that align with client goals and drive mutual success
- Collaborating with sales and marketing to tailor offerings and proposals for individual clients
- Working closely with product and support teams to communicate client feedback and influence roadmap
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Tracking KPIs such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), retention rate, and revenue growth
- Preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to clients and internal leadership
- Maintaining accurate and updated records of account interactions using CRM tools
- Problem Solving & Escalation:
- Handling client issues and escalations promptly, ensuring fast resolution and high satisfaction
- Acting as the internal advocate for key accounts, coordinating cross-functional responses as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or enterprise sales
- Proven track record of managing high-value or enterprise accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Proficient in using CRM platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role with multiple priorities
