Job Title: Team Leader Billing/Accounting

As a seasoned process expert, you will oversee the efficient execution of billing and accounting processes within our organization. Your exceptional leadership skills will enable you to manage a team of 15+ individuals, driving process improvements that enhance client satisfaction and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Governance:
    • Deliver and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with organizational targets.
    • Prioritize tasks based on business priorities and optimize resource allocation.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of technical aspects of the process and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of process risks and ensure effective controls are in place.
    • Engage with stakeholders to discuss process-related challenges and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve escalations effectively.
    • Lead end-to-end projects/tasks in coordination with onshore stakeholders.
  • Resource Optimization:
    • Forecast and plan resource requirements to meet business needs.
    • Manage resources efficiently through fluctuations in the business cycle.
    • Establish contingency planning for critical resources.
  • People Development:
    • Set realistic goals and expectations for the team and conduct regular progress reviews.
    • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
    • Assess competency levels and provide targeted development opportunities.
    • Proactively identify performance gaps and develop action plans to improve individual performance.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team sessions.
    • Implement strategies to minimize attrition and absenteeism.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher is required.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with accounting and insurance principles is beneficial.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a team leader managing a team of 15+ individuals.
