Job Title: Key Technological Leader

The company seeks a full-time Chief Technology and Data Science Officer with managerial responsibilities to oversee the development of cutting-edge technology and data science operations.

  • Lead cross-functional teams of software engineering staff, data scientists, and other technical staff involved in the creation of clinically relevant, AI-driven, enterprise-level health analytics and risk management solutions.
  • Manage the development of AI and NLP-based analytics products with an end-user clinical and care management perspective.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions for health risk, clinical summarization, and health equity analytics.
  • Build out internal service tools and platforms that process healthcare datasets, EHR, claim, and care management data.
  • Improve operational efficiency by implementing project management tools and processes that contribute to optimal team performance and results.
  • Encourage continuous innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Transform ideas from high-level business problem statements into practical data- and AI-driven health analytics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in leading and managing teams, team building, coaching, and mentoring.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including maintaining/operating at least one software product for 2+ years.
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud computing and/or data processing and/or data science.
  • Extensive team building and leadership experience, along with excellent communication skills in English.

Key Requirements

  • Strong executive presence and ability to effectively interface with leadership.
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another engineering field.
  • Strong focus on software security and mindset.
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
