Job Title: Operations Manager

About the Role:

This is a key position within our organization responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of our hub's operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory, pick-pack & delivery operations to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Direct end-to-end monitoring of pick pack delivery to provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead hiring, training, development, and discipline of workforce ensuring high productivity.
  • Address customer escalations and reverse logistics in a timely manner.
  • Engage with central teams for operational and hub-related actions.
Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inbound operations ensuring seamless receipt and processing of goods.
  • Support infrastructure for GRN and inventory activities to prevent delays.
  • Promote prevention of pilferage/shrinkage through regular audits and checks.
  • Ensure accurate stock-in/refilling processes to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage Fresh Operations including receiving, grading, and dispatch of fruits and vegetables.
  • Administrate Third Party Logistics (TPL), internal audits, and liaison with external agencies.
  • Manage consumables procurement and costing through administrative lead.
  • Ensure scrutiny and approval of hub invoices and control miscellaneous spends through petty cash.
  • Resolve employee escalations and undertake employee welfare activities to maintain discipline and productivity.
  • Manage audit and approval of projects, asset audit, and maintenance activities.
KPIs and Outcomes:
  • Hub P&L Targets (Actual vs Planned)
  • Total orders Processed (Actual vs Planned)
  • Hub running expenses (% of revenue) vs planned
  • Inventory in hub () vs plan
  • Inventory ageing in hub (days) vs plan
  • On Time Delivery - Target Vs Achievement (%).
  • Overall refund (%) vs Target
  • Operations excellence initiatives implemented in Hub
  • People Management/Development - (Employee Retention/Attrition) (%)
Organization Structure:
  • This role is part of the Operations team and reports directly to the Cluster/Regional Head.
  • Hub Head has an organization comprising Core Site Operations team along with support functions including Admin, and site HR.
