Job Title: Payment Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payment Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our payment ecosystem.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all payment processes run efficiently and effectively, minimizing any potential disruptions or delays. You will work closely with various teams, including Operations, Product Management, and Tech/Dev, to drive change and improve revenue collection and reduce churn.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to upskill in all payment, ecommerce, and analytics tasks in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will own your pillar of Commerce and become an expert in your field, comprising of many areas, such as Mobile payments (Apple IAP), Direct payments (Credit Card), Access codes (Gift Codes), etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the payment ecosystem, including Subscriptions & Billing, CRM systems, PSP backends, and Mobile Payment systems.
  • Provide expert support to Customer Service teams to resolve customer commerce issues without SLAs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and improvements around billing and subscriptions.
  • Analyze transactional data to optimize payment ecosystem performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Payment methods and markets knowledge, with ability to support new market launches, product launches, price increases, and feature rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based business models, with proven track record in optimizing revenue collection and reducing churn.
  • Customer-first mentality, with ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver excellent service.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
