Business Development Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in the polymer materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Maharashtra, focusing on untapped regions and emerging markets.
  • Client Acquisition: Establish and nurture relationships with polymer product manufacturers, traders, and exporters to expand our customer base.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and closing high-value deals.
  • Product Promotion: Promote our range of polymer materials to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and applications.
  • Industry Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales within the polymer, chemicals, or related industries.
  • Network: Established connections with polymer product manufacturers, traders, importers, and exporters across Maharashtra.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the polymer industry, including market dynamics, pricing, and applications.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
