About the Role
The MIS Executive will play a crucial role in generating, maintaining, and improving management information systems (MIS) to support decision-making and streamline financial processes. Key responsibilities include:

MIS Reporting & Analysis:
• Collect, analyze, and manage data from various business operations to ensure accurate and timely reports.
• Maintain and update databases regularly for smooth data management.
• Generate and prepare regular financial reports related to accounting and financial performance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time insights into key financial metrics, trends, and variances.
• Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for process improvement.
• Assist in preparing detailed variance analysis reports comparing actual vs. budgeted financial performance.
• Design and implement ad-hoc reports and analytics as and when required.

Accounting Data Management:
• Ensure proper input and maintenance of financial data in accounting systems.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Provide accurate and timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts and other financial statements.
• Manage and update records, creating backups as necessary to ensure minimal data loss.
• Work with different departments (finance, operations, HR, etc.) to ensure proper data flow and reporting standards.
• Interpret data and provide actionable insights to management to support decision-making.
• Conduct trend analysis and provide recommendations for improving operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies while managing and reporting data.
• Maintain documentation related to system processes, reporting procedures, and guidelines.

Internal Control and Compliance:
• Ensure all financial data and reports comply with regulatory standards and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial data and documentation

Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled MIS Executive with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance/accounting environment, is essential. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, macros, pivot tables, etc.) and technical skills in MIS reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation are also required.
