Job Overview
We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, managing daily operations and technical issues, and providing effective solutions to difficulties that arise.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in workplace safety and develop an elaborate preventative program for managing sites. They will also ensure that all essential site activities, including maintenance of electrical, mechanical, chemical, fire protection systems and equipment, are performed in a safe and efficient manner, complying with policies and requirements set out by regulatory bodies.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be well-versed in critical environment procedures and performance metrics, driving their work and ensuring key performance indicators are met as set out in the management contract.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues to colleagues, clients, and vendors. A university degree or professional qualification in engineering or facilities management, and over four years' experience in facilities operation, is preferred.
