Backend Software Engineer Job

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end services using Python.

A successful Backend Software Engineer will be able to build and manage RESTful APIs, integrate with third-party services, and ensure efficient database design.

They will work closely with frontend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality and collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services primarily using Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Ensure efficient database design, write optimized queries, and manage migrations.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of backend development experience with strong Python expertise.
  • Deep proficiency in Django (MVT framework) and working knowledge of FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side programming.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Redis for caching, queuing, and session storage.
  • Experience with GitHub workflows and Docker for containerization.
