Job Title: Software Engineer - Python Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team as a Python Backend Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and robust backend services using Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Optimise components for maximum performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Python backend development experience
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
  • Implemented and managed containerisation platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Previous hands-on experience in AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EMR, VPC, Subnets, SQS, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Lambda, Sage maker, RDS, SES, SNS, IAM, S3, backup, and AWS WAF
