Technical Support Engineer Role

At Inspiredge IT Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide technical assistance to clients and end-users in a Help Desk capacity.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical support to clients and end-users via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Triage and resolve technical issues related to desktop hardware, operating systems, applications, and network configuration.

  • Work with end-users to identify and resolve issues related to Windows applications and software.

  • Perform password resets and provide access to end-users as necessary.

  • Diagnose and isolate problems, and work with vendors as needed to resolve issues.

  • Provide complete management of service requests from case creation to resolution.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to workflow.


Technical Requirements:



  • Knowledge of OSI reference model and protocols.

  • Understanding of corporate IT environments, including PC and laptop setup.

  • Technical support experience on Windows OS and MAC OS platforms.

  • Ability to troubleshoot system-specific issues related to PC and laptop hardware.

  • Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and ability to add, remove users, and perform password resets.

  • Experience with DNS and ability to isolate network issues with service providers.

  • Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, O365, OneDrive, Teams).

  • Knowledge of DHCP and ability to troubleshoot network issues.

  • Configuration and troubleshooting skills related to Microsoft applications.

  • Experience with Intel Endpoint Management Assistant, Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center Management, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Intune, and BitLocker.

    Requirements:



    • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be successful in a team environment.

    • Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.

    • Adherence to QA program.

    • Ability to work well in a team environment.

    • Flexibility to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekend shifts (24/7).
