About the Role

The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in driving partnerships with functional managers, translating business and function-specific objectives into human capital strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a local people plan to enhance the success of the business unit and provide people leadership to senior leaders and their teams.

  • Sustain and own the strategic business partner relationship and provide insight, challenge, and thought leadership to help managers drive their people strategy.
  • Contribute to and manage the delivery of strategies as a strategic business partner to managers focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop, and retain the best diverse talent in the industry.
  • Measure the effectiveness of people initiatives and programmes to ensure they are delivering desired outcomes.
  • Lead business partnering for managers with employee attraction, development, and retention issues, including annual reviews, leadership coaching, career pathing, advanced people reporting, and metrics, and special project assistance.
  • Support organisational design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Facilitate effective information flow, decision-making, and actions on people issues across the unit and project levels.
  • Engage with the organisation and key stakeholders to drive inclusive culture and provide regular progress updates to business leaders.
  • Coach managers on people policies and processes, including organisational design, change management, talent management, and leadership capability to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
  • Support collaborations with functional leadership and the director of talent acquisition to identify and prioritise current and future talent needs.
  • Mentor other HR professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
  • Advocate for emerging trends and changes in HR within the team.
What You'll Need
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in a business partner role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
