Job Title:

Production Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities to ensure timely completion of projects and maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing resources, including manpower, machinery, materials, and finances, to support production.
  • Monitoring progress to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the rail industry or heavy fabrication sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes, including welding, assembly, and testing.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of wagon engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in large-scale production project execution.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and embrace change.
