We are a rapidly growing financial company specializing in supply chain financing solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs). Our focus is on enabling working capital access for businesses by building a technology-driven, scalable lending platform.

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Credit Head to lead the credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management functions. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in setting up and driving the credit strategy, policies, and processes aligned with business goals, while ensuring risk management standards and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor credit policies, frameworks, and processes for SME/MSME lending and supply chain financing.
  • Lead the credit appraisal and underwriting function, including assessment of borrower risk, financial due diligence, and creditworthiness evaluation.
  • Oversee portfolio quality, delinquency management, and design early warning mechanisms to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with business, risk, and operations teams to balance growth objectives with prudent credit practices.
  • Present credit proposals and portfolio performance updates to senior management, board, and regulators as required.
  • BUILD AND MENTOR A HIGH-PERFORMING CREDIT TEAM CAPABLE OF HANDLING SCALE.
  • Stay updated with industry, regulatory, and market trends impacting SME/MSME lending.

Required Skills:

  • 8–15 years of experience in credit risk/underwriting, preferably with NBFCs, fintechs, or banks with strong SME/MSME exposure.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain finance, bill discounting, invoice financing, and related credit products.
  • Proven ability to build credit frameworks from scratch and manage large loan books with quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory norms, compliance requirements, and RBI guidelines for NBFCs.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • CA/MBA/FRM or equivalent qualification preferred.
