**Job Summary**: We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in managing specialized risk management functions within our Enterprise Risk Management practice. This is an onsite opportunity for the qualified candidate to be deputed at Banks in the GCC and manage various aspects of Market and Liquidity Risk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing policies/guidelines on the enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk, valuing treasury portfolios, providing independent mid-office monitoring support, and implementing capital charge and counterparty risk charge calculations. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to monitor hedge effectiveness, perform technical analysis of equities, bonds, and money market funds, and prepare regulatory and internal daily and periodical reports.

  • Responsible for establishing policies/guidelines on the enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.
  • Valuation of Treasury portfolios - Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and others.
  • Independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, etc.
  • Implementation and calculation of Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge.
  • Monitoring hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis.
  • Technical analysis of Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing policies and guidelines on the enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.
  • Valuation of Treasury portfolios.
  • Providing independent mid-office monitoring support.
  • Implementation and calculation of Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience for Middle East banks.
  • Strong understanding of Market and Liquidity Risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
