Regional Order Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the servicing of orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Validate demand forecasts, prioritize tasks, and assign resources accordingly.
  • Verify demand against available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, manufacturing licenses, minimum shelf-life requirements, and pre-shipment documents to ensure accurate planning.
  • Analyze order status in our systems to identify potential issues.
  • Collect information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Highlight any potential issues affecting defined timelines.
  • Take ownership of assigned orders from end-to-end for the region.
  • Drive documentation related to shipments with CFT teams.
  • Mitigate risks and delays proactively to avoid demurrage/penalties on shipments through collaborative efforts with logistics teams.
  • Attend relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders and their status updates.
  • Identify and resolve issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity) in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Arrange cross-functional meetings to address priority orders and ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders on timely issue resolutions.
  • Identify outstanding/open orders for priority customers.
  • Analyze issues requiring immediate escalations to cross-functional teams for timely resolutions.
  • Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters.
  • Engage key stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide detailed analysis on outstanding orders for discussions in meetings.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to implement IT and automation in order management processes to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for IT and technology automation in SCM jointly with IT.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting, including VBA macros and Power BI.
  • Good understanding and experience of supply chain principles, preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • SAP knowledge essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work around constraints.
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
