Supply Chain Coordinator Job

This role entails coordinating supply chain operations to maintain optimal storage conditions, managing back orders and stock discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving products and documentation in accordance with established procedures
  • Supervising the warehousing of various product categories, including quarantine, released, rejected, returned, or recalled items
  • Implementing Good Storage Practices to ensure safe storage conditions
  • Monitoring and checking stock and dispatch
  • Maintaining files related to stock and dispatch
  • Ensuring storage at recommended environmental conditions and maintaining a clean and pest-free environment
  • Performing sampling and subsequent packing of samples as per relevant procedures
  • Tracing distributed products on a batch-by-batch basis
  • Ensuring First Expiry First Out policy during distribution
  • Investigating complaints according to relevant procedures
  • Supervising the handling and destruction of expired or rejected products, and maintaining records
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience from a medical device company holding a medical device wholesale drug license
  • Inventory management experience and interacting with external customers and internal departments
  • Great organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
Work Environment and Requirements:
  • This position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, making frequent customer contact on a daily basis
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
  • Daily use of a computer and other computing devices is required
  • May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in facilities
  • Must be able to travel extensively, both domestically and locally, requiring a valid Driver's license
