Job Summary:
ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Zonal Sales Manager based in Delhi to drive the growth of the Yale Retail business in the region. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and expanding the distribution channel, driving revenue growth, market expansion, market analysis, sales mix, timely payment collections, price management, and leading a team of Area Managers and Area Sales Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver revenue objectives for Yale Retail business as per plan in the assigned zone.
- Review and improve the performance of existing distribution channels.
- Identify and appoint new channel partners to expand reach and counter presence.
- Build and manage demand generation for all product categories through planned activations and new product placements in the retail market.
- Focus on distributors' secondary sales, stock management, and price management.
- Design and implement promotional schemes to the channel and monitor their performance.
- Identify key influencers like carpenters, local contractors, architects, builders, and ensure regular engagement through product trainings and meetings.
- Support working capital management by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Closely monitor competition actions and new developments.
Requirements:
- Functional knowledge of retail business in the building material industry, preferably in the Residential Hardware segment.
- Strong connections with architects, interior designers, contractors, and influencers.
- Maintain time discipline and strong work ethics.
- Good verbal and email communication skills.
- Responsive, organized, and energetic.
- High level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities.
- High drive for results and execution excellence.
- Strong follow-up skills with stakeholders.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Strong motivation to know products and ability to present/demonstrate them successfully to customers.
Qualification Criteria:
- MBA or Post-Graduation in Sales & Marketing.
- Currently working in a manager profile with team handling experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in the Building Material Industry - Hardware/Tiles/Sanitary/Paints/Modular kitchen/Electrical/Doors and windows/Plywood/Laminates/Glass, etc.
- Proficient in English and Hindi language.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Age preferred between 28 to 35 years.
