Financial Operations Manager

About Us

Achieving excellence in financial management is crucial for our company’s success. We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our finance team, ensuring seamless financial operations and strategic decision-making.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, including preparation of periodic financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.

  • Accounting:
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure timely closure of audits and statutory reports.
  • Collaborate with external accountants to complete audits and due diligence processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced financial expert who can drive process improvements, enhance financial analysis, and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.

  • Compliance:
  • Develop and maintain a compliance calendar for multiple geographies.
  • Manage vendor invoices and tax compliance.
  • Review tax filings and assist in preparing necessary tax submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in India and the US.

Financial Analysis and Process Set Up:

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.

  • People / Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals and guide them in controllership functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of revenue activities.
  • Cash management, including daily cash positioning, multi-currency fund transfers, and coordination with banks.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Skillset:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and key metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience required:

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance, preferably at a funded start-up or a Big-4 firm.

This role requires a growth mindset, with the ability to anticipate future needs and adapt efficiently.
