Job Opportunity:

A pivotal role exists for an individual to ensure seamless operation of business and web applications, 3rd party applications, and related ecosystems.

The primary environment is based on Microsoft technologies, encompassing intranet and extranet applications as well as 3rd party applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide production support and application administration to business and web applications.
  • Support all types of production activities, including help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to application design and deployment projects, change management, and monitoring.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree with five years of experience as an application support administrator in a Microsoft-oriented IT environment.
  • Excellent knowledge in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud with at least two years of experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures.
  • Expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server.
  • Experience with power shell scripts.
  • Good understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL along with knowledge of debugging network-related issues using tools like Wireshark.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in supporting ASP/.Net based applications (custom developed and off-the-shelf systems).
  • Knowledge of application security.
  • Ability to fine-tune applications for performance issues.
  • Excellent knowledge in automatic CI/CD deployment of applications.
  • Thorough understanding of monitoring systems and methodology.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
