About the Role
Palo Alto Networks is seeking a skilled Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join its Global Deals Desk team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of non-standard pricing transactions and quoting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve non-standard pricing requests, including financial analysis for gross margin and SSE compliance.
- Become an expert on the company's quoting tool and review finance and revenue recognition compliance policies.
- Liaise with various organizations involved in the approval process, including finance, legal, and order management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide decision support on deal solutions.
- Evaluate potential risks and opportunities that can affect deal positioning.
- Ensure adherence to policy and procedures, reviewing Order Forms for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Deal Desk, with a minimum of 1-3 years in the IT/SaaS industry.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions in line with deadlines and maintain a sound audit record.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and G-Suite is highly recommended.
