Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and expertise in Cisco Tetration solutions. This role will involve providing Level 2 operational support for the platform, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Platform Operations Support: Provide proactive monitoring, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to ensure high uptime of the Cisco Tetration environment.
  2. Configuration and Deployment: Assist in configuring and deploying Cisco Tetration components and sensors, ensuring they are properly integrated into the existing infrastructure.
  3. Network Segmentation: Collaborate with internal teams to implement application segmentation and micro-segmentation policies across the data center environment, ensuring secure and compliant network operations.
  4. Troubleshooting and Escalation: Analyze telemetry data to diagnose issues, escalate complex problems to L3 engineering teams as necessary, and maintain accurate technical documentation and support logs.
Key Qualifications:
  • 7-8 years of experience in Network Engineering or IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration in operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Cisco Tetration features such as traffic mapping, segmentation, and policy enforcement.
