Quality Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, with expertise in checking fixtures and welding fixture design.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to vendors, overseeing project management and schedule monitoring. They will also ensure timely execution of development activities, with a focus on zero defect production lines setup at vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Provide technical guidance to vendors, oversee project management and schedule monitoring.
  • Development Activities: Ensure timely execution of development activities, focusing on zero defect production lines setup at vendors.
  • PFMEA and Advanced Product Quality Planning: Conduct PFMEA (Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and implement required actions based on the analysis results. Develop Advance Quality Planning for new parts development.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze part quality issues, identify countermeasures, and plan their implementation using tools like FTA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), 5 Why analysis, and 8D method.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Automotive Industry Experience: Working experience in the Automobile Industry (4/2 wheeler/LCV).
  • Concept Generation and Validation: Expertise in concept generation and validation, including root cause analysis for defects reported in line and countermeasure implementation.
  • Quality Control Tools: Practical application of Quality Control Tools, including theoretical background of SPC (Statistical Process Control), analytical tools, and Six Sigma.
  • PFMEA and APQP Activities: Thorough knowledge and working experience on PFMEA, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities.
  • Tools and Dies: Working knowledge of tools/dies and various inspection aids (gauges/Jigs/fixtures/test rigs, etc.).
  • Planning and Execution: Good planning and execution skills for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency for proper documentation, data study, and presentation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to understand drawing specifications and part fitment requirements.
  • International Testing Standards: Good knowledge of automobile international testing standards (IS/BIS/JIS/JASO/ASTM/SES, etc.).
