Job Title: Strategic Marketing Lead for Prescription Medicines
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic marketing professional to lead our prescription medicines marketing efforts in India.
About the Role:
- We are looking for an innovative thinker with strong leadership skills, who can develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and regulatory to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product marketing, market research, and campaign execution, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for assigned brands and countries, aligning with the overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research, including market visits and consumer/stakeholder insights analysis, to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
- Translate consumer/stakeholder insights into effective marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Design and roll out brand communication campaigns in coordination with country-based brand teams, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop and implement impactful marketing campaigns across various channels (including digital, print, and events).
- Monitor and measure campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
- Liaise with country-based teams and external agencies to develop and implement strong trade activation programs that drive brand visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align trade activation activities with sales strategies and goals.
- Monitor the effectiveness of trade activation programs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure consumer outreach through digital activations, leveraging digital marketing channels and platforms.
- Implement performance marketing strategies to measure the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities and campaigns.
- Analyze marketing performance data and generate insights to optimize future marketing initiatives.
- Serve as the custodian of brand innovation, identifying opportunities and generating a future wish-list of innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with business development teams to build business cases for future products and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to ensure effective progress and alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- 10 to 14 years of product marketing experience.
- B. Pharma + MBA - Marketing OR Pharma Management qualification preferred.
- Experience in the Revitalite division or other therapy areas such as Gynae, Acute, Gastro, Ortho, GP, Pain management is beneficial.
Location: Sun House, Mumbai
Salary: ₹2,000,000 - ₹3,500,000 per annum
