Job Overview

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced HR expert to build, lead, and transform our HR department. This role demands a professional who thrives on challenges, understands the seed industry, and has the skills to lead the company through structured, phase-by-phase HR improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and Lead HR Pillars: Develop and implement systems for team building, payroll management, leave tracking, and compliance. Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to build a motivated and high-performing workforce. Create scalable HR systems and processes tailored for the seed industry.
  2. Evaluate and Improve Efficiency: Identify areas where the company is lacking in HR efficiency and implement improvements. Design structured processes for employee management, performance tracking, and operational optimization.
  3. Drive Employee Engagement and Growth: Establish programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Provide a structured roadmap for career development and growth opportunities. Act as the go-to person for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
  4. Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Stay updated on labor laws and ensure the company complies with all statutory regulations. Handle audits, maintain proper documentation, and mitigate legal risks.
  5. Phase-by-Phase Transformation: Adapt to current practices and drive change in a structured, phased manner. Lead the transition of the HR function from its current state to a fully optimized and scalable model.
  6. Project Handling and Strategic Growth: Collaborate with leadership on strategic projects to align HR initiatives with company goals. Take ownership of projects to support growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  7. Industry Expertise: Leverage your understanding of the seed industry to design HR practices that fit its unique requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3–5 years in HR leadership, with a strong understanding of building and scaling HR departments.
  • Skills: Expertise in payroll, leave management, compliance, employee engagement, and project handling.
  • Mindset: Adaptable, action-oriented professional who can implement phase-by-phase improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the seed industry or similar sectors.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and grow HR teams for long-term success.
  • Commitment: A long-term thinker dedicated to transforming the HR function, not someone seeking short-term experience or 'learning opportunities.'
Estimated Salary

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
