About the Role:

You will be responsible for leading a team in the Revenue Management Department to oversee the entire Order to Cash cycle for circulation revenue.

This role requires expertise in billing, credit & recovery management and compliance. As a key member of the RMD department, you will ensure effective and timely recoveries of outstanding amounts.

The RMD department supports the business by analyzing all business risks and providing critical insights to inform revenue recognition decisions.

As a seasoned professional with 10-12 years of experience in Accounting in service industry, you will have expertise in reconciliation of Debtors, Provision for expenses, cost ledger, vendor payment etc.

You will also be responsible for managing Dealer Interface, Revenue Accounting, Custodian Services, Collection/Recovery & Business Controls (O2C & R2R).

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure billing to all agencies
  • Resolve disputes with agencies and customers
  • Maintain existing and new customer codes with proper documentation
  • Book value addition orders/invoice regarding sponsorship etc
  • Reconcile dealer and finance ledger balances
  • Coordinate with Big 4 auditors (internal, statutory, IFC)
  • Experience in Revenue Accounting
  • Manage interface with banks on banking products, clearing of collection etc
  • Month end reports/Presentation relating to revenue and collections
  • Calculate Classified, Display and Canvasser incentive
  • Initiate Process Control/Cost Control measures
  • Ensure GST & TDS compliance
  • Exposure to legal Contracts, Barter arrangement etc
  • Exposure to Budgeting exercise
  • Exposure to Document management set up
  • Maintain Customer Database
  • Working knowledge in SAP
  • High Knowledge on Excel, word, power point, power BI

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant or Cost accountant with 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting in service industry
