Job Title: Audio Visual Consultant

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead Audio Visual projects, from requirement gathering to project close-out.
  • The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in AV deployment projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements from end-users/customers for AV-related projects.
  • Design solutions based on received briefs/requirements.
  • Obtain business approval for AV solutions.
  • Provide final designs to the collaboration head/vendor management team for vendor quotes.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial proposals from vendors.
  • Coordinate downtime for implementation once a purchase order is issued to the AV vendor.
  • Verify drawings received from vendors. Intermediate-level AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
  • Coordinate with CIS/BU teams (Civil and MEP) for room readiness required for AV system deployment.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery according to the purchase order.
  • Ensure end-to-end project coordination with vendors and internal teams, follow up, and close out all dependencies.
  • Ensure project execution meets customer satisfaction standards.
  • Maintain extensive project documentation throughout project lifecycles.
  • Quality-check physical installations.
  • Test and commission AV systems.
  • Take handover from vendors with proper documents, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and equipment specification sheets to be uploaded to a central repository.
  • Help the Asset Management team verify delivery according to the purchase order and provide asset tags to each piece of equipment.
  • Provide handovers of projects to Operations Team/Customer with proper training on using installed systems.
  • Offer remote first-level support for maintenance calls.
  • Visit project sites if necessary to address issues or troubleshoot.
  • Conduct periodic health checks of AV systems and provide inputs on improvements if required.
  • Perform extensive proof-of-concepts for latest technologies.
