Associate IT Security Analyst

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • SIEM Tools Management: Ensure process knowledge and technical expertise on SIEM tools such as Qradar, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Splunk etc.
  • AV Tools Administration: Manage AV tools like Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro etc.
  • Vulnerability Management: Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities using various tools.
  • Security Logging: Review security logs generated by applications, devices, and other systems.
  • Incident Response: Enforce incident response service level agreement.
  • Tool Recommendations: Work with the global IT Security team to analyze, test, and recommend tools to strengthen the security posture of the company.
  • Operational Reporting: Create and maintain operational reports to allow IT management to understand the current and historical landscape of IT security risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience working in a Security Operations Center.
  • Strong understanding of complex Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with various security frameworks such as NIST / ISO27001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
