Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Intellectual Property Analyst to support the expansion and protection of our patent portfolio.

This role requires a strong understanding of patent preparation and prosecution, with a focus on IP strategy, portfolio management, and collaboration with external counsel rather than direct drafting of patent applications or office action responses.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and proactive in identifying opportunities for IP protection and risk mitigation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Background: Experience analyzing and protecting control systems, mechanical equipment, and software-driven innovations
  • Familiarity with Software Licensing: Knowledge of software licensing, open-source compliance, and digital IP matters
  • Patent Preparation and Prosecution: At least 3 years of experience supporting patent preparation and prosecution
  • IP Contracting: At least 2 years of experience reviewing and negotiating IP-related agreements with third parties
