Senior IP Analyst

We are seeking a Senior IP Analyst to join our team in Global IP Analytics under Corporate Global Legal. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's intellectual property strategy.

  • Demonstrate strong technical skills and expertise in differentiating inventions amongst prior arts to draft convincing arguments/articulation of technical subject matter.
  • Handle patent prosecution and PTO communications across different jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
  • Drive result-oriented & meaningful conversations with inventors/subject-matter experts/engineering & business management stakeholders on technical and legal subject matters.

This role requires an engineering background (Bachelors or Master of Engineering) and 4-6 years of prior experience in the IP industry. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal leadership skills, capable of handling project requests in demanding situations and bringing project execution at speed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for managing the company's global intellectual property portfolio.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through strategic use of IP.
  3. Maintain and enhance the company's global patent portfolio by drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  4. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
