Strategic Operations Manager

Lead and direct the container freight station (CFS) to ensure efficient and safe operations, management, and financial performance.

  • Optimize CFS potential to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and implement long-term corporate strategy and plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of the business for profitability and growth.
  • Oversee profit and loss (P&L) and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).
  • Grow the business through trend identification and opportunity implementation.
  • Convert high-revenue potential customers for optimal use of CFS facilities.
  • Ensure physical infrastructure meets business demands and supports growth.
  • Improve service delivery and expand coverage.
  • Hold monthly business reviews and staff performance reviews.
  • Accountable for unit safety operations and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with government agencies.
  • Meet agreed profit, revenue, return on capital employed (ROCE), and operational targets.
  • Realize organization key performance indicators (KPIs), policies, and procedures.
  • Develop clients through networking.
  • Analyze CFS performance versus competitors.
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts.
  • Orientate labor regulations.
  • Build relationships with external agency heads for desired results.
  • Monitor customer requirements and trade demand.
  • Comply with CFS health, safety, environment, and supply chain security management systems.
