To enhance merchants' business, we offer commerce services through advertising and the Paytm Mini app store.
Our platform leverages the company to offer credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans, and BNPL, sourced by our financial partners.
About the team
EDC Retail is one of Paytm's business tools to help merchants grow and manage their business through simplicity and data-driven technology.
About the role:
Key responsibilities include:
- New Account acquisition for Paytm payments solutions (only key outlets to be onboarded).
- Account Management of provided base visit accounts, build and maintain relationships.
- Acquisition of quality onboarded accounts engagement with Paytm.
- Handle the on-roll KAMs and motivate them for better sales.
- Responsible for acquiring key merchants (large standalone accounts, multiple stores/MID accounts, city/regional chains) for payment solutions.
- Responsible for the retention and cross-sales of other products.
Expectations/Requirements:
Self-starters who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity will be ideal fits. Passionate about working in a fast-growing firm and ready to get hands dirty to articulate complex solutions to novice customers. Honesty and trustworthiness are the most important virtues. Good sales and negotiation skills, interest in financial products & market.

Must have high-level drive, initiative, and self-motivation. Team handling experience is a must. Identify and meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Good exposure in cold calling, pre-sales, and lead generation. Graduation is a must. Good communication and negotiation skills are a must.
