Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst with 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, a strong grasp of testing methodologies, and proven experience in driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. They will perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability, as well as identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to refine requirements and define test scenarios. You will also ensure compliance with software development and testing standards, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to refine requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Ensure compliance with software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
  • Hands-on expertise in manual testing, test automation, and API testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mobile application testing.
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus.
