Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure it meets our quality and efficiency standards.

You will manage resources, monitor progress, and enforce quality standards to maintain safe production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production meets plan requirements by managing resources and monitoring progress.
  • Maintain safe production processes by enforcing quality standards and conducting regular inspections and tests.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-15 years experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures including welding, assembly, and testing.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of wagon engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
