Lead Meat Cutter Position

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a meat cutting role with a culinary background, responsible for operating the production line efficiently and maintaining quality standards.

As a key team member, you will supervise staff, provide coaching and feedback for improvement, prepare reports to senior management highlighting areas for cost containment and operational efficiency.

Strong leadership skills are required, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage meat cutting operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Supervise staff, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop staff, providing on-the-job training and coaching to strengthen their current performance and prepare them for future advancement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years' experience in a meat cutting role with a culinary background.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
