Our organization is seeking a highly skilled IT Sourcing Specialist to spearhead our strategic sourcing initiatives. This key role will involve managing relationships with stakeholders, developing and executing sourcing strategies, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaboration and communication with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Develop stakeholder matrices and maintain regular engagement to drive client satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure effective sourcing strategies.
  • Serve as a key contact person for IT category and sourcing initiatives.

Sourcing Planning:

  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify sourcing opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
  • Formulate category-specific cost models and license/service agreements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement IT strategies and sourcing plans.

Management of Sourcing Initiatives:

  • Lead and execute IT sourcing projects from start to finish, adhering to agreed timelines and service quality.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Achieve defined sourcing policies and processes.
  • Ethically manage supplier and client engagements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics, supply management, or law, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Additionalsourcing/procurement certification is advantageous.
  • Strong English language skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Deep understanding of license models, service models, and IT applications and infrastructure.
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party IT vendors.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Possession of additionalsourcing/procurement certifications can be beneficial for career growth.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in Simplified Chinese language can provide a competitive advantage.
