We are seeking a skilled Civil Structural Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for various aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drawings Preparation: Utilize software skills to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings for structural elements, equipment layouts, and general arrangement diagrams.
  • Civil Foundation Drawings: Prepare detailed drawings for civil foundation structures, including beam and slab designs.
  • Structural GA & Fabrication Drawings: Create comprehensive drawings for structural elements, including connection details and fabrication requirements.
  • Layout Drawings: Develop layout drawings for construction projects, incorporating information on piping systems, equipment locations, and other essential details.
  • Bills of Materials: Prepare Bills of Materials for construction projects.
  • Bar Bending Schedule: Familiarity with bar bending schedules is an advantageous skill for this role.
  • CAD Updates: Update CAD drawings to reflect changes made during the construction process.
  • Fabrication Issues: Collaborate with shop floor teams to address any issues that arise during fabrication.
  • Vendor Drawing Review: Experience reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings is a preferred skill.
  • Engineering Drawing Checking: Knowledge of engineering drawing checking is an advantageous skill.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in modeling and design of civil structures, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and drawings, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
